- Main Shift: 6:00am to 12:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Summary:
The Customer Service Associate role genuinely values the customer experience and positive perception, by persons of all ages and genres, visiting the Pine Community Center. Interactions will include activities such as providing building or property tours, demonstration of fitness equipment and generalized desk responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Displays professionalism, positivity and exceptional customer service;
- Answers multiple communication pathways including phone lines, member portal inquiries, email, fax, and impromptu in-person;
- Seeks to resolve inquiries, problems and diffuses disgruntled conversations;
- Communicate and discuss events, classes, programs and other Community Center offerings;
- Process new and renewal memberships;
- Register members and guests for recreational activities and programs;
- Completes monetary transactions according to process and policy;
- Gains knowledge of fitness equipment to demonstrate use and functionality to members and guests;
- Explains and enforces Community Center and departmental policies and procedures to members and guests;
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitization of work and/or departmental area and equipment;
- Monitors members and guests in assigned work area and/or department for compliance, safety and customer service inquiries;
- Uses integrity and attention to detail to communicate with leadership, regularly, on safety concerns, equipment failure, supply shortage, incidents, observation or witness to inappropriate behavior;
- Regularly monitors security camera activity and reports concerns immediately;
- Participates in company training and meetings;
- Assists with transfer of knowledge to new team members;
- Maintains confidentiality of members, guests and company sensitive information;
- Accepts other duties as assigned.
Other Qualifications
- Adapts easily and quickly to change in job assignment or company initiatives;
- Microsoft Office Product knowledge and able to learn specialized scheduling software;
- Able to operate basic office equipment including copier, fax, computer and phone.
- Reliable, trustworthy and comfortable with independent work atmosphere;
- Prioritization of assigned tasks;
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-year relative experience preferred

- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA Criminal Background Check Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Certification
- CPR & AED Certification - willing to become certified within 3 months
