About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Public Sector clients and stakeholders, particularly in Federal agencies.
- Experience with Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, and virtual private networks/application to PaaS and IaaS technologies.
- Experience with containers and associated technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Serverless, and Microservices.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Google Cloud/IT technology space.
- Eligible for US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

As part of the National Security Customer Engineering team in Google Public Sector you'll work closely with senior leaders in Government to show how Google's people and Google Cloud's technology can be leveraged to accomplish the most sensitive missions and goals.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build customer specific go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive customer workloads as measured through pipeline and business growth.
- Own the technical relationship with customers, empowering them to drive a successful pilot or proof of concept, support partners drive toward acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement, and work with customers during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
- Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Lead technical projects, technology advocacy, and support bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
