This position will be providing quality customer care service for our Prince William Area sites.
The students and families we serve are essential to our continued success. We are looking for an individual who will interact daily with our customers to answer questions regarding programs, registrations, childcare system support, accounts, and billing. The Customer Care Specialist will work to address and resolve concerns, representing the AlphaBEST brand with professionalism, and showcasing our core values with every customer interaction.

AlphaBEST is currently hiring a Customer Care Specialist for our Massachusetts before and after school sites. This position would be working remotely. Typical hours are Monday- Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional flexible scheduling may be required if supporting programs in different time zones. This is a full-time position. The salary range is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour with benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and more!
Position Details:
- Customer response time within 24 hours is expected
- Maintain family accounts and make billing adjustments, as approved
- Provide technical assistance for child management system
- Use troubleshooting processes to determine the cause of concern
- Develop/recommend a course of action to resolve customer concerns, acting within the scope of authority
- Document actions in the system for accurate reporting
- Provide administrative support for processing subsidy payments and related childcare reimbursements
- Positive interactions with internal and external customers to resolve issues
Job Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Two years experience in providing customer service with a proven track record of customer satisfaction
- CPR and First Aid Certified (preferred)
- 6 months experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
