Call Center Representative
Clarke of St. Charles, IL is seeking to hire a Summer Call Center Representative who will be responsible for managing the customer portal for hotline inquiries, answering the "Mosquito Hotline", documenting residentquestions and complaints, anddispatching information to the appropriate party. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY
This position earns a competitive wage of $13/hr. and generally works 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday Friday (end times vary based on business needs). The Call Center Representative works on average 40+ hours per week and supports the summer seasonal operations (generally April September).
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE
As a Call Center Rep, you will be responsible for answering all calls/voice mails to our Customer hotline in a professional and courteous manner. You will log the call information online. You may also be requested to help answer the Customer Care phones in busy times. You love your Call Center Rep job as you get to work in an inclusive work environment and interface with our internal and external customers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
- Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
- Be proficient in customer service, data entry and computers
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
- Have the ability to sit and answer phones for extended periods of time and effectively multi-task
- Must be able to work through the end of our 2019 season (September/October)
- Candidate must be comfortable performing assigned duties in an office environment (where lighting andtemperature is controlled) as well as function effectively in a very fast paced environment
