What you'll do:
- You are Silgan's voice to our customers.
- Actively listen and respond to their inquiries and requests, communicate pleasantly and succinctly, build and maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with Silgan's customers and our internal team to successfully identify current and future needs.
- Utilize Silgan software to process orders and assist the product flow through the supply chain from our warehouse to order fulfillment.
- You are the key point of contact communicating effectively with internal and external customers for all matters, problem-solving any order fulfillment concerns.
- Manage the analysis and reporting of data.
- Monitor customer accounts and help our accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure payments are timely.
What you need to have:
- Associate degree and 1 year of work experience or High School diploma and 2 plus years of experience. Experience should be in a similar customer support position.
- Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for teamwork and collaboration.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
