Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished, executive salesperson to establish, manage, grow and retain high value, mutually beneficial partnerships within the Nestlé Professional Solutions (NPS) Commercial Restaurant Chain business. This role will be focused on effectively managing, retaining, and driving growth within our existing and new commercial restaurant chain relationships utilizing NPS’ robust portfolio of brands and custom capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing key relationships with multiple partners within the assigned account base. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in prospecting and onboarding new clients to expand our business reach. As the primary relationship owner for these accounts, you will oversee contract management, program development, and expansion initiatives. Collaboration with product development, finance, and commercial development teams within NPS will be essential to ensure seamless execution and success in this role.
While we prefer candidates to be in Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; or St. Louis, MO we are open to considering nationwide locations. This is a remote position requiring about 50% travel to clients.
Summary of Core Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Leadership
+ Establish and cultivate executive-level relationships with decision makers in assigned accounts
+ Acquire in-depth knowledge of customer’s business and bridge to solutions within the NPS portfolio.
+ Build effective proposals based on customer needs, consumer insights, and customer decision criteria leveraging a storytelling approach
+ Create and execute strategic joint business plans for both business partners and internal stakeholders
Deal Making
+ Generate, manage and execute complex and high impact partnership contracts and programs with both existing and potential new business partners
+ Conduct thorough cost benefit analyses of high-value partnerships to assess their potential value.
+ Strong executive presence and maturity
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Management
+ Collaborate across cross-functional team including culinary, product development, finance, and commercial development to understand customer performance and shape initiatives that align with account growth strategies.
+ Understand and navigate the custom product development process.
+ Support program and product roll out to ensure on time delivery and ongoing customer supply.
+ Collaborate with customer and internal supply chains teams to build accurate sales forecasting.
+ Act as a representative for both the customer and the company when engaging with internal and external key stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ Direct sales / consultancy experience with Commercial Restaurant Chains (5+years)
+ National program management (5+ years)
+ Complex contract negotiations (5+ years)
+ Foundational financial acumen. Functional knowledge of marketing, operations, finance, and competitive strategy
+ Functional knowledge of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and proposal submissions
+ Skilled at simplifying complicated material to communicate in a concise and effective way
+ Experience leveraging and working within Sales CRM systems
+ Ability to travel around 50%
The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000.00 to $160,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
