Golden Touch Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet Installer to join our team. The Custom Cabinet Installer will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and home entertainment centers. This role involves working closely with our design team and using high-quality materials to produce exceptional cabinetry that meets our clients' specifications. - Fabrication & Assembly: Build custom cabinetry from scratch, following detailed plans and specifications provided by the design team.
- Material Preparation: Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools, such as saws, routers, sanders, and clamps.
- Precision Work: Ensure accurate measurements and precise cuts to meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Installation Preparation: Test fit cabinets, shelves, and trim to ensure everything fits properly before delivery.
- Customization: Create and install custom details, such as drawer boxes, cabinet doors, and specialized fittings, ensuring a perfect finish.
- Maintenance of Tools & Equipment: Maintain woodworking tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and safely stored.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team and other carpenters to ensure the project stays on track and meets deadlines.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of the finished product to ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet making or woodworking.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, planers, and other carpentry equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of the cabinetry work.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to cabinetry and woodwork projects.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks involved in carpentry work.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Safety-Conscious: Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a woodworking environment
