Title: Environmental Control Technician
Location: Rogers Park, Chicago, IL
Shift: 1 spot Sunday to Monday (6am to 2:30pm) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from (1pm to 9:30pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carries out housekeeping and maintenance tasks according to established timelines.
- Follows specific procedures for cleaning and decontaminating the environment.
- Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Disposes of hazardous and non-hazardous waste by regulatory standards.
- Stocks handwashing and toiletry supplies in appropriate areas.
- Assists in minor maintenance tasks, equipment moves, and supply management.
- Completes required documentation to meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required.
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
- Bilingual ability may be preferred based on participant population.
- DCFS background checks are required for employees in youth programs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A):
- Comforts working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information diplomatically.
- High degree of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
