POSITION:  Custodian – Maintenance Technician

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining building perimeters, operating outdoor cleanup equipment such as blowers, leaf, and litter gas operated vacuum.  Perform light grounds keeping, cardboard recycling, moving furniture, sweeping large corridors and open areas, sweeping and cleaning stairways, cleaning freight elevators, collecting trash and wiping down trash cans.  Other duties may include sanitizing and mopping restrooms, cleaning break rooms and cafeterias, and maintaining janitor closets.

Flexibility and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner as directed by the crew leader, supervisor, or project manager.  

Responsible for cleaning, maintaining and being accounted for all equipment used.

Responds promptly to customer needs and requests for service, meets commitments.

Oral Communication - must speak, read, and understand English. Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.

Diversity - shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promotes a harassment-free environment.

Safety and Security - observe safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly.

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training.

Available Positions and Shift timings:

1. Job Type:-Full Time- 40 hours/week - $17.20/hour
Monday through Friday - 09:00 AM to 5:30 pm

2. Job Type: PartTime - 25 hours/week - $17.20/hour

Monday through Friday - 03:00 PM to 8:00 pm
