About the Job
Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodial Manager who is responsible for directing a wide variety of janitorial services, in a school district. This position will be responsible for the operation of the custodial staff. The ideal candidate should have a great personality to build relationships, multi-unit janitorial management experience and a great personality to help build relationships and foster current relationships.
This role has a tentative start date of July 1, 2024
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for organizing, scheduling, training, assigning, and performing daily work routines.
- Must be able to plan and perform major cleaning operations, supervising and coordinating work projects, and coordinate with the customer on supervisory responsibilities to ensure quantity and quality exceeds expectations.
- Inspect all assigned areas frequently to ensure that individual and building inspections meet service level quality standards, utilizing computer-aided inspection systems and other department provided tools. Supervise other related work as required.
- Independently directs, assigns, supervises, and guides all assigned janitorial employees.
- Plans and prepares work schedules and assignments.
- Approves assigned employee payroll documents, payables, etc.
- Completes assigned supply orders and billings.
Minimum Requirements
- Should have at least two (2) years’ experience in managing a comparable sized public school district.
- Should have a four (4) years’ experience in the custodial management industry.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent diploma.
- Must be in the process of obtaining or have a Black Seal License by 7-1-2024.
- Must be fluent in English.
