We are currently seeking a Curriculum Development Manager reporting to the VP, Sales Enablement, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly passionate and motivated to change the Construction Industry for the better using data and technology and have proven experience defining a strategy for, creating and delivering training content using a variety of modalities.
You will own the design and creation of e-learning to support the sales team’s understanding of products, process, systems and tools to do their jobs.
Your top goals will be to define a strategy for creating and delivering training content using a variety of modalities for the sales organization by working closely with Enablement and Sales Leadership as well as internal subject matter experts. You will understand and prioritize learning needs and create engaging and interactive training to address these learning gaps. You’ll devise strategies to create awareness and make content accessible for all learners.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive online content from concept to production, including design, development, delivery, and testing
- Create compelling and interactive learning activities and knowledge checks that enhance engagement
- Define ongoing assessment / certification strategy, formulate appropriate questions, and execute continual evaluation of learners
- Support program plans and design storyboards to collect feedback and guide the content creation process
- Lead the design and participate in content creation for sales learning paths
- Manage projects including timelines, content and assessment development, audio and video recording/editing, and content management
- Partner with VP, Sales Enablement to define a content management strategy as well as identify and create channels to publicize newly released training content
- Partner with internal subject matter experts and ensure content and assessments address key content areas
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop the methods, learning objectives, content, and measurement
- Work with the Product team to prioritize and deliver on training associated with the product roadmap
- Maintain a dashboard of all project statuses, completion goals, backlog items, and metric tracking to create visibility across sales.
- Help design process and style guide to utilize for all content creation going forward
- Help define the appropriate modality to present content in the most effective and engaging manner
- Create a process to track program development progress to share status with the Enablement team and internal partners
- LMS administration duties such as content updates and reporting
- Support the planning, content development and execution of Sales events, as needed
- Continuously evaluate effectiveness of new and existing elearning programs
- Identify additional software needs
You bring:
- 5+ years experience in sales enablement or training preferably at a SaaS or technology organization with the demonstrated ability to utilize eLearning to transfer skills to a group and/or individuals.
- A passion for adult learning and creating effective and engaging elearning strategies
- Exceptional knowledge and understanding of instructional design process, program design principles, and practices
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that enable you to form strong relationships and develop buy-in from internal partners
- Stellar written and verbal skills, with a specific focus on being able to translate complicated concepts into easy-to-understand formats
- Strong attention to detail to product high quality content
- Bias for action: ability to initiate new programs, multiple concurrent projects, identify and resolve blockers, obtain senior management buy-in and support and manage to deadlines
- Fast learner with technical aptitude that enables you to gain expertise across various products and internal tools
- Proven experience building, executing, and measuring the success of training programs
- Experience with content management systems, sales enablement tools, and learning management systems
- Curiosity, can-do attitude, conviction, confidence, coachability
- Ability to work independently
- Experience designing content using Articulate Suite, Canva, Adobe Suite, Camtasia, photo and image editing tools
- Familiarity with Docebo or other Learning Management systems
- Familiarity with Vyond or Powtoon, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets is a plus
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Ability to travel to corporate office in Sugar Land, TX on a quarterly basis
