Position Title: Current Operation Support in support of 9AF AFCENT/A3

United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia. This position supports USAFCENT Command Operations Center in support of AFCENT/Chief of Staff.

Location: Shaw AFB, SC

Security Clearance Level: Secret

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages Current Operations directorate daily TMT workflow, official 9AF AFCENT message traffic, and electronics archives manager.
• Performs as Directorate SME for TMT.
• Provides administrative oversight of GFM products.
• Accepts, evaluates, and disseminates all HHQ taskings. Coordinates task extensions, cancellations, rejections, reassignments, and suspense's. QCs and standardizes timely task responses.
• Coordinates TMT system outages and new user accounts; provides new user division level training.
• 9AF AFCENT SME for message distribution process. Provides administrative reviews, tracking, distribution, and archiving all of 9AF AFCENT official message traffic (FRAGO, RFF, DEPORD, REDEPORD, OPORD, and GENADMIN).
• Coordinate the distribution of official message traffic with the 9AF AFCENT COC and uploads all final messaging products to the Commander's SharePoint Dashboard.
• Manages directorate's messaging files and library.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Minimum of one years' experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail systems or the equivalent.
• Minimum of three years' experience working with tasker management system at a component staff or higher.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a staff organization.
