Crossings Cafe, located on the Nationwide campus in Grandview Yard, is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to support the team and the Operations Manager in the day to day operations.

What would I do in a day:
- Manages kitchen staff, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and overall operations of the kitchen.
- Prepares meats and seafood for line and special functions.
- Organize and execute daily production and prep list for restaurant and events, via the approval of Operations Manager.
- Maintain par levels and place orders accordingly.
- Ensures that all coolers are neat and that all products are stored properly.
- Ensures that all stations are set and prepped in a timely manner for service.
- Ensures that all food products are used on a timely basis.
- Acts as supervisor of Restaurant in the absence of the Front of House Supervisor.
- Prepares food in accordance with Jerome Village recipes.
- Aids and assist other areas of the kitchen as needed.
- Sets up, maintains, breaks down, and cleans any dirty workstations.
- Serves items in accordance with established portion and presentation standards.
- Notifies Operations Manager in advance of expected shortages.
- Ensures that assigned workstation and equipment are clean and sanitary.
- Maintains security and safety in work areas.
- Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
- Covers, dates and properly stores all leftover products that are re-usable.
- Works with all departments.
- Demonstrates and promotes a safe and secure environment for guests and team members in compliance with workplace policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Observes and secures associate compliance with procedures and methods.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Vision abilities required
- Associate must be able to speak and hear.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience in a full service kitchen.
- 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
- ServSafe Certified preferred, but not required.
- Peer to peer conflict resolution.
