Culinary Operations Coordinator
Full-Time - Benefits Eligible
Wage: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Culinary Operations Coordinator will assist in menu documentation and recipe database maintenance for a multi-unit foodservice management company with strong presence in the mid-Atlantic region. The position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the recipe system via data entry and ongoing maintenance, both import and export. Performance expectations will include the routine input of recipes into a database according to standardized guidelines. Further, the position will maintain nutritional and allergen information for all menu items, related grids and spreadsheets. This position will report to the Manager of Culinary Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Modify recipe database for nutritional linking, allergen and special diet tagging, preparation techniques, conversion of measures, yield percentages, HACCP, writing of methods and portioning.
- Culinary knowledge to include the ability to read, comprehend and write recipes.
- Competency with all current software programs to include Microsoft and Excel.
- Fluency with Net Menu and new menu software including Galley.
- Ensure accuracy of database via recipe entry and upload of relevant files.
- Maintain nutritional/allergen information of all menu items, related grids and spreadsheets.
- Comprehension of ingredients for correct selection in recipe creation and in making substitutions.
- Ability to handle many facets of recipe creation and maintenance for multiple locations across two divisions.
- Adding new recipes submitted from field submissions and be able to understand and adjust as necessary to meet standards.
