Culinary Coordinator (Certified Dietary Manager) - Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Care Center

Currently we are looking for a certified dietary manager to help us provide quality care to our residents. A qualified certified dietary manager will have an active dietary manager certificate and have a current food handler’s permit. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of dietary aides, servers, and cooks to ensure quality and consistency across the dietary department.
• Schedule team members a month in advance, and have a working knowledge of team member activities and needs for scheduling.
• Assist in covering shifts when necessary.
• Attend mandatory meetings and hold routine meetings with dietary department to help maintain quality and consistency.
• Keep the kitchen clean and disinfected. 
• Take inventory of products and complete weekly orders
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Pass a physical exam.
• Be able to life up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
• Bend, stoop and twist almost constantly throughout the day.
• Remain active and on their feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.
