Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare services, is seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Tech to join their Georgetown, KY team. This role requires working 7 am - 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. Our client has received numerous awards and operates on a national level, providing cutting-edge healthcare solutions across the country.
Must-Haves:
- Completion of a two-year certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Radiology in the state of Kentucky.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily tasks effectively while adhering to departmental priorities and protocols.
- Actively respond to patient requests, ensuring timely intervention and enhancing patient satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and professional environment by adhering to the dress code and facility standards.
- Position patients and perform high-quality imaging procedures with precision, following department guidelines.
- Evaluate imaging results, identify any quality issues, and take corrective actions as necessary, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
- Safely and accurately enter, transmit, and report scan results to ensure seamless communication between departments.
- Assess patients for contraindications before procedures, such as medication interactions, pregnancy, and preparation concerns, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Review orders and physician requests to verify the correct diagnosis and procedure requirements.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies (e.g., aprons, contrast, markers) are ready before each procedure, supporting efficient workflows.
- Monitor patients’ safety and comfort during exams and promptly respond to any concerns or complications.
