CT Technologist - Ironside Human Resources

Shift:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7p-7:30a
  
• Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7a-7:30p
  

Equipment: Philips Ingenuity 128 slice CT scanner

Capabilities of CT Technologist:

• Understanding of the anatomy and physiology necessary to perform CT testing, including body mechanics and patient movement
  
• Knowledge of radiology equipment, including safety hazards common to radiology.
  
• Capability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot problems
  
• Capacity to apply written instructions and standardized work practices and protocols
  
• Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and twist, and standing for up to 4-6 hours daily
  
• Friendly and outstanding customer service skills
  
• Strong critical thinking skills
  
• Basic computer skills, including the use of multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  

Education of CT Technologist:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  

Required License or Certification of CT Technologist:

• ARRT Certification in (CT) Radiologic Technology
  
• Active New York State Licensure in Radiologic Technology
  
• New York State IV contrast certification required within 30 days of employment
  
• BLS CPR certification
