- Position Summary
- Assists medical staff in diagnosis through the use of Computed Tomography Imaging, as per Physician's orders; performs CT scans appropriate to the ages of all patients served.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
- License/Certifications:American Registry of Radiologic (ARRT) certificate and applicablestate(s) license to perform as a Radiologic Technologist required. Current BLS certification required. Advanced certification by the ARRT required within 2 years of hire.
- Experience: 6 months of CT experience preferred. Basic IV skills preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, employees, customers and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
