Operate a CT scanner and process images. Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age-specific standards. Produce computerized tomographic radiographs as ordered and in accordance with established practices and procedures.
Responsibilities

+ Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age-specific standards.
+ Produce computerized tomographic radiographs as ordered and in accordance with established practices and procedures.
+ Coordinate with nursing units to bring patients for scans.
+ Send results automatically back to the hospital through EMR.
+ Gather patient history, perform scans, and ensure images are ready for radiologist review.
+ Work collaboratively with colleagues based on volume and patient complexity.
+ Manage time efficiently and demonstrate critical knowledge in diagnostic radiology.
Essential Skills
+ Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
+ CT certification within 1 year of employment.
+ Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
+ Minimum one (1) year dedicated CT experience.
+ Minimum one (1) year diagnostic radiology experience.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience as an x-ray technologist is beneficial for critical knowledge and time management.
Work Environment
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00pm - 5:30am. 10-hour shifts, 80 hours per pay period. No on-call duties. You will work with three scanners and handle approximately 150 exams daily, including inpatients, outpatients, and department patients. Overnight technologists typically see 20-30 patients. The culture emphasizes open communication, teamwork, adaptability to patient needs, and mutual respect.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $84240.00
