Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for a CT Technologist to work at our client's facility Grand Marais, MN.
Shift: There will be weekends and Call.

Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for a CT Technologist to work at our client's facility Grand Marais, MN.
Shift: There will be weekends and Call.
Responsibilities:
- Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
- The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned.
- The Technologist operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs Intravenous contrast injections, operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- The CT Technologist is responsible for the quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and the policies and procedures of the designated area.
- The CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.
- One year experience in CT
- Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit
- Previous CT scanning experience, experience with Client scanners preferred
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
- Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certification
- Current license issued by ARRT
- Advanced certification in CT
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CT technologist. Must be intelligent and self motivated. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills problem solving techniques are are required.
