Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) Needed in Warsaw, IN
Our client, a large healthcare entity in Northern Indiana, has a need for a Computed Tomography Technologist at their hospital in Warsaw. The CT Tech works together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized CT procedures such as operating CT Scanners and performing CT procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. They will operate within the "Standards of Ethics" of the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the "Clinical Practice Standards" established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT).

Hours: 32 hrs/wk, flexible Monday through Friday 3pm -11:30pm & every 5th or 6th weekend -or-
24 hrs/wk, 3pm-11:30 pm Monday-Friday & every 5th-6th weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
Pay Range: $28 - $41/hr + Shift differentials: wknd: $3.25/hr, eve: $3.00/hr, nights: $4.00/hr.
May qualify for Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Bonus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets up and adjusts equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
- Positions patients to obtain images of the area of interest, while respecting the patient's ability and comfort.
- Obtains appropriate patient information for the procedure being completed.
- Provides radiation protection to the patient, technologist and anyone else in the area.
- Recognizes emergent situations and activates assistance as needed.
- Assists other areas and shifts as needed.
Certifications & Knowledge Required:
- BLS thru AHA required
- Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health.
- CT certification required
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
- Previous experience in CT preferred, but not required
- Ability and knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures.
- Must be able to lift 50 - 100 lbs.; shared lifting
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.

Salary
Shift differentials; weekends $3.25, evenings $3.00 and nights $4.00; eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses
