CT Scan Technologist Wanted at the Danbury Hospital!!
**$30,000 SIGN ON BONUS ******
Day/Eve 8 hour shifts between the hours of 11am and 11pm, mostly 11am - 7:30pm. Includes every other weekend, holiday and on call rotation
We offer competitive pay, perks, benefits. We are willing to train Rad Techs. Willing to discuss flexibility of CT Scan tech shifts. Required: Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
Desired: ARRT Certification in Radiography. ARRT Certification in CT within 1 year of hire. Pay based on full years experience - $42 - 52.51 plus shift differentials.

Summary:
Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate CT scans of patients while maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Introduces and greets patient.
2. Responsible for the care and safety of patients.
3. Instructs and prepares patient for CT exam.
4. Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions, and shields patient accordingly.
5. Produce high quality CT Scans.
6. Assists with training students and ancillary personnel.
7. Interacts professionally with patients and family.
8. Completes all work before clocking out and leaving.
9. Attends annual hospital review (compliance) and departmental in-services meetings as scheduled.
10. Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
11. May lead, coach, and mentor staff members.
12.Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. May take call as assigned.
Education: ASSOCIATE'S LVL DGRE
Other Information:
Required: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Minimum Experience: minimum one year CT Scan experience.
BLS, CT State RT License or New Graduates under CT Temporary Practice Provisions, Valid ARRT, Continuing education, 24 CEU credits for license. Maintains current knowledge of professional discipline & educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Experience with patient care in a radiology setting.
