Cross Country Transport Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from clients, providing them with timely updates on the status of their vehicle shipments, estimated arrival times (ETAs), and any potential delays.
• Communicate with drivers to provide route information, address any issues during transport, and ensure that schedules are met. Ensure drivers are adhering to safety guidelines.
• Use GPS, maps, and logistical software to plan efficient routes for vehicle transportation, taking into account road conditions, traffic, and delivery timelines.
• Quickly resolve any issues that may arise during transport, including delays, route changes, or unforeseen obstacles. Ensure drivers and clients are kept informed.
• Collaborate with other branches to ensure consistency in operations and maintain clear communication across the company.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver communications, and customer interactions using computer systems and mobile devices. Ensure all updates are logged properly and promptly.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, finding quick resolutions to ensure satisfaction.

Cross Country Transport Dispatcher Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or moving services, with a focus on dispatching both local and cross-countryshipments.
• Excellent phone etiquette, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and professional communication with clients, drivers, and team members.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, GPS tools, and logistics software. 
• Ability to manage unexpected delays, route changes, or customer concerns in a calm and efficient manner.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate information is shared with clients and drivers, and all shipment details are correctly documented.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and other office locations to ensure seamless operations.
