An established anesthesia practice located in Louisville, Kentucky, specializing in providing anesthesia services in an ambulatory surgical center setting. Our practice prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and efficiency while maintaining a supportive and friendly work environment for our staff.
Job Description: As a CRNA with our practice, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout various surgical procedures in our ambulatory surgical center. You will work collaboratively with the team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures by established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess the patient's medical history, current condition, and anesthesia requirements to develop an appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during surgery to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of anesthesia care and patient records.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control protocols and medication administration guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Licensure Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the state of Kentucky.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia principles, techniques, and medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
