We are seeking a dynamic and experienced UPS Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated and results-driven professional to contribute to our rapidly growing organization. As a UPS Field Service Engineer, you will work at the forefront of power technology, utilizing your skills and experience in UPS, power distribution units, and power systems maintenance. You will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to our sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support for uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on UPS systems and power distribution units to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to service calls and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Develop, write, and deliver value-based demonstrations and proposals to key decision-makers.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on potential product improvements or new product opportunities based on customer feedback or market trends.
- Train customers and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sales industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in UPS systems, power distribution units, and power systems maintenance.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet customer needs and business objectives.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
