Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and deconflict data center construction and operational activities
- Oversee the delivery of new data center capacity
- Understand SCIF construction and security through ICD 705 and customer requirements
- Work closely with the construction, power distribution, cabling fit-up, security, and installation teams to provide secure facilities that meet HPE's operational requirements
- Manage customer communication regarding the operational status of the facilities
- Understand and manage the facilities contract leases
- Work closely across multiple companies to ensure that data center operations are efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively executed
- Help coordinate building maintenance and refresh activities
REQUIRED:
US Citizen Required
TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Poly required
Location: Manassas, Virginia onsite M-F
- Proven experience in supporting data center moves, adds, and changes and determining project schedules
- Superior knowledge of customer requirements and approaches
- Over 10 years of experience working in critical facility environments
- Over 5 years of project or organizational management experience
- Knowledge of customer data center design and constraints
- Working knowledge of design and construction management techniques
- Proven track record of working with contractors and overseeing construction projects
- Skilled in conflict resolution
- Proven operational experience in a data center with management networks, power management, and DCIM
- Knowledge of facilities: construction and operations of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Strong collaboration skills; works well on a team
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
- Flexible, proactive, ability to work with minimal direction in an open and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of products
DESIRED:
- Strong knowledge of Change Management and Incident Management processes
- Experience with Nlyte or other DCIM tool
- Familiarity with the federal continuity of operations (COOP requirements/procedures)
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree and 12+ years of professional experience and a Master of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study. Without a Masters degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (15+ years in total).

USD Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
