About the Job
The County of Ventura Health Care Agency is seeking experienced critical care nurses to provide professional nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.
CERTIFICATION PAY: Incumbents in these classifications are eligible for certification pay at a rate of $0.813 per hour based on his or her scheduled work week hours and not exceed the scheduled work week hours for each qualified certification possessed up to a maximum of five (5) certifications.
Additional incentives subject to the applicable section of the CNA MOA 2023-2028 (found here).
EDUCATIONAL/BILINGUAL INCENTIVE: Possible educational incentive of 2.5%, 3.5%, or 5% based on completion of Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree. Incumbents may also be eligible for bilingual incentive depending upon operational need and certification of skill.
AGENCY/DEPARTMENT: Health Care Agency - ICU
Registered Nurse II’s are represented by the California Nurses' Association (CNA) and are eligible for overtime compensation.
NOTE: Salary placement will be determined according to the current CNA memorandum of agreement.
The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill current and future Regular (including Temporary and Fixed-Term), Intermittent, and Extra Help vacancies within the ICU. There are currently ten (10) Regular vacancies.
