Our organization is seeking a dynamic and proactive Permanent Crisis Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of crises involving at-risk populations, coordinating with community partners, and providing resources and support to those in need. This role requires a strong command of both English and Spanish, and a deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by diverse communities.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Crisis Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing, implementing, and overseeing crisis management plans and strategies.
2. Providing immediate support and intervention during crises, reducing the impact on individuals and communities.
3. Collaborating with community partners to provide resources and support to those affected by crises.
4. Conducting regular assessments of potential risks and crises, and developing proactive strategies to mitigate these.
5. Providing regular reports on crisis management activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
6. Conducting training sessions for staff and community members on crisis management and intervention strategies.
7. Maintaining a strong understanding of community dynamics, potential risks, and resources available for support.
8. Navigating complex situations with sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism, while maintaining the privacy and dignity of those involved.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Crisis Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in crisis management, preferably working with at-risk populations.
3. Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrated experience in collaborating with community partners and stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
6. A deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by diverse communities.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple crises and tasks simultaneously.
8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
