As a Retail Display Builder with American Greetings, you’ll be a vital part of our company’s purpose; to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place. We are looking for motivated and energetic Retail Display Builders to join our team to build, assemble, construct, and tear down greeting card fixtures in retail locations where needed.
Pay
• The starting pay is $16.20 per hour with two increases during the first year
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $17.10 and $18.00 after a year.
• Paid travel time to the job site when traveling in a company vehicle
• Hotel and a per diem are paid for overnight travel when needed
• Full Training: All necessary tools are provided
Based out of Cheyenne, WY
• Average of 15-20 hours per week, varies per job assignment
•Part Time through February 28, 2025 (possibility of permanent role)
•Hours vary based on business needs including possible nights and weekends
Primary Responsibilities
•Construct/build greeting card shelves, racks, and displays.
• Disassembling/assembling •fixtures, accessories and signage using basic hand and power tools
•Utilize diagrams/planograms and technology to set merchandise according to company standards
•Maintain a clean and safe work area requiring organization, attention to detail and trash removal
Experience Required:
What is needed from you?
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Proficiency with small hand tools used to install and modify fixtures including hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills
• Retail, merchandising, assembling, warehouse, construction and military background is a plus
• Frequent overnight travel
•Valid drivers license preferred but not required
• 18 years or older
