Responsibilities:Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Food Preparation: Prepare and package food items accurately and according to Popeyes' standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
Cashier Duties: Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency. Process orders, collect payments, and issue receipts.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities according to health and safety standards.
Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to proper food handling procedures, including temperature monitoring, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks as needed.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and special offers to effectively assist customers with their orders and inquiries.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications / Requirements:
- Must be able to observe and ensure the product is prepared and presented to company Brand Standards.
- Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
- Must complete all Popeyes Academy assigned Learning and LTOs
- Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers.
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of force frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds.
- Consistently operates registers.
- Consistently handle product preparation.
- Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures.
- Frequently stop and pick up supplies and trash.
- Consistently push to open and close doors to store and storage shed as well as cooler and freezers.
- Consistently stand during serving customers and training.
- Consistently talk to and listen to fellow team members and Guests.
- Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking and inventory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Applicants must possess a valid food handler's permit or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one. Employers will be responsible for providing the necessary training and certification for all employees, who are required to be certified.
