DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude
- Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards while working in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café
- Follows steps to operate the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash
- Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café

Then in 1997, we opened our first café in Tallahassee, Florida. Guests now had a place to sit and relax while we made their favorite smoothies. Two years later, we added a range of wholesome food options to complement our smoothies, all made fresh. We started as a destination for flavor, and it’s a proud heritage that we continue today.
