Remote Position
Volt is immediately hiring a Customer Service Representative to work in Oceanside/Fullerton, CA.
Work hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
This job will be 90% remote. When asked to come into the office, it will be mainly for meetings, which may vary by location (Oceanside, CA or Fullerton, CA)
As a Customer Service Representative you will:
What you will do:
• Deliver excellent customer service by providing documents, answering & returning phone calls, and following up as needed.
• Thorough and precise data entry related to new account setup, lien paperwork & releases, and trade references.
• Accurately review, complete, and sign customer lien waiver requests within established approval authority limits.
• Lien waiver/law knowledge that ensures timely compliance with pre-lien and /or bond activities.
• Cross functional support across direct regional assignment but also ability to support peers, which may include assistance in other areas.
• Building or Setting up COD Accounts & Ship-To Accounts in the system when requested.
• Manage a portfolio of COD accounts that will be to be reconciled with Customers, Operations and Sales departments.
• Ability to make decisions within designated approval and authorization limits.
• Process various types of customer payments.
• Assist in collections work using GetPaid, an automated collection software (training will be provided).
• Participate in departmental projects and support other management directives as suggested.
• Maintain and update Customer Maintenance records.
• If needed, monitor past due invoices, and make a high-volume of customer collections contacts via phone, e-mail, and customer portals.
• Review and monitor of emails and dispersing to appropriate team member.
This is a full time opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
• Attention to detail
• Customer Service skills
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Construction Lien experience preferred but not required
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook
Pay Rate: <$20.00-26.00/ per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
