About the Job
Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Specialist to join our client's team on a 3-month assignment! In this position, you will review and analyze credit information, provide advanced client service, and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in credit reviews, risk management, and customer service in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate incoming clients utilizing payroll services to mitigate credit risk exposure.
- Review and interpret credit reports (Equifax, Experian), trade data, and public records to support credit decision-making processes.
- Approve, deny, or escalate credit authorizations, payments, or termination decisions to ensure sound financial outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent clients, escalating positive matches to supervisors and the fraud investigations team.
- Conduct daily reviews of incoming clients to identify matches to terminated accounts and take appropriate action.
- Remove clients from services as required and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial transactions within product systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret credit reports and financial data.
- Experience in credit risk management, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
