Summary:The Section Manager 1/Credit manages through team leaders and/or section supervisors the daily activities for a functional area typically comprised of exempt and non-exempt employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Ensures that the area is adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained.
+ Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
+ Plans and schedules the activities within the area of responsibility and coordinates activities with other areas as required.
+ Resolves the more complex working problems.
+ Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
+ Ensures quality of service level is maintained.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 3+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Recent management experience to include coaching, developing and leading others
+ Well versed in regulatory requirements
+ Able to accurately interpret and apply policy and procedures and be able to proficiently explain to both internal and external customers
+ Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Excellent service skills and ability to partner with regional teams and external partners
+ Proven analytical skills with attention to detail.
+ Experience with risk accountability, law and regulation compliance and audit/regulatory examination response
+ Ability to work in a high volume environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining production service levels
+ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
+ Customer service oriented
