JOB SUMMARY:
Provide prompt, courteous and accurate customer service while assisting customers and employees with bank card products, merchant services and ATMs. This position must acquire and maintain a working knowledge of bank products and services to recognize cross sell opportunities and refer customers. Serves as a specialized contact for the bank's card services, work with merchants using our POS terminals, setup and maintain ATM fleet.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides customer service excellence in accordance with our standards and philosophy.
- Daily customer contact involving card and merchant services questions or issues.
- Performs daily functions of credit card, debit card, ATMs, and merchant processing promptly and efficiently.
- Reviews and completes documentation for compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in community events for SMB.
- Recognizes opportunities to cross sell bank products and services.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior banking or financial related experience required
- Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task and self-motivated
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer Skills (Jack Henry, Microsoft Word, Excel)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is largely sedentary; however, filing and the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are required. Installation of credit card machines at customer locations is also required. The ability to sit, bend, squat, twist and lift/carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. is also required. This position requires a working knowledge of computers, printers, credit card machines, and general office equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior teller or banking experience required. College degree and/or one year prior card services experience is preferred.
