Job Title: VP Credit Administrator
About the Role
The VP Credit Administrator oversees key aspects of the credit administration process, including reporting on problem loans, managing loan approvals, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s underwriting policies. This role also provides guidance to Relationship Managers and senior leadership on individual loans and the overall loan portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Assess credit requests for risk, structure, and collateral.
- Support the underwriting and loan approval process.
- Monitor credit metrics like delinquencies, risk ratings, and problem loans.
- Advise on Criticized and Classified loans, including TDRs and impairments.
- Assist in developing and launching new credit products.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of loans and renewals.
- Maintain compliance with lending regulations and audit recommendations.
- Mentor Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.
- Represent the bank internally and in the community.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years in commercial lending/credit risk, including 3+ years of management experience.
- Skills: Strong credit analysis, leadership, and communication skills; advanced Excel proficiency; knowledge of credit products, lending software, and regulations.
