Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Administration Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for a bilingual individual proficient in Korean and English, eager to start a career in credit administration and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Review and Portfolio Management: Assist in the ongoing review and management of credit portfolios, ensuring all accounts comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Loan Application Review: Evaluate existing and prospective loan applications, checking for completeness and accuracy.
- Loan Portfolio Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of the loan portfolio, including risk assessments and credit structure recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
- Credit Administration: Handle overall credit administration for the assigned portfolio, maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.
- Collateral Maintenance: Administer collateral maintenance, ensuring all collateral information is current and accurately recorded. Perform basic follow-ups as required.
- Declined/Withdrawn Loan Applications: Administer and process declined or withdrawn loan applications, maintaining clear and organized records of such transactions.
- Report Preparation: Review and prepare various reports, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel, for data analysis and report preparation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to conduct detailed analyses of credit and loan portfolios.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in credit administration or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and credit risk management practices.
