Our client seeks an individual who understands marketing and promotion techniques for events, but is also comfortable with detail-oriented operations tasks. This person will be a strong project manager who is enthusiastic and brings a combination of fresh ideas and organizational skills. This will be an excellent opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the company while also increasing efficiencies.
Job Location: Hybrid 1-2 days/week in Buffalo Grove, Illinois

Role Type: Direct Hire
What youll be doing:
- Meetings/Events
- Coordinating virtual, onsite, examination, committee, and expo events
- Preparing presentations
- Coordinating and managing the booth and events at the annual meeting
- Coordinating the logistics for travel, catering, materials, gifts, and booth set up
- Communicating with vendors, venues, and meeting spaces for upcoming events
- Researching new vendors and venues for future meetings
- Credentialing
- Communicating with members on upcoming recertification deadlines
- Maintaining members certification files, verification companies, and completed verifications
- Processing and responding to all verification completions and requests
- Administrative
- Supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer with various administrative tasks
- Updating doctor profiles with images and bios
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, communication, or related field
- 3+ years meetings/events management experience
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Project Management experience
- Vendor and contract negotiation skills
- Web and social media skills
