The Perfect Candidate:
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic creative and technical professional with marketing acumen to join our Team. The perfect candidate will value and love promoting the ClearPlan Brand through LinkedIn, YouTube, and have technical chops (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) with strong written communication skills. The Role:
As a Creative Media professional and a member of the growing ClearPlan team, we are looking to leverage your creativity, technical skills, and marketing acumen to produce and manage various forms of media content aimed at enhancing the brand's visibility, engagement, and overall presence within our industry and support promoting ClearPlan’s capabilities. This role encompasses the creation, editing, and distribution of multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and social media posts, as well as company collateral creation, industry event support, and requires an understanding of digital platforms and tools.
ClearPlan’s Creative Media Specialist plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the company’s brand image through compelling visual and multimedia content. By effectively managing and executing media strategies, they help drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and contribute to the overall success of marketing initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Creative Technical Skills
Software Proficiency: Showcase knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe XD. Final Cut Pro and/or other media production software to create and edit content. Experience using Premiere (nice to have).
Production Design: Demonstrate a high level of competence with production design skills, including accuracy with project edits, consistency with repeating layouts and typefaces, cascading design elements through established creative templates and "cleaning" any outstanding projects that need finalizing.
Technical Brand Standards: Demonstrate knowledge of UX/UI design principles. Display technical skills such as spatial awareness, designing with proper proportions, adhering to brand standards, successfully selecting and creating balanced color and font palettes, and a commitment to being detail oriented.
Platform Management: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in media production and digital marketing platforms. Be curious, growth minded keeping current with design trends.
Creative Content Creation and Production:
Video Production: Create, edit, and produce engaging video content for various platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, company website, and internal company support.
Graphic Design: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and promotional materials.
Photography: Capture high-quality images to be used in marketing campaigns, on social media, and on our internal company portal.
Creative Skills: Strong artistic and creative abilities in designing and producing multimedia content. Bring fresh ideas for repurposing high-performing content.
Marketing Acumen:
Branding: Understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and digital marketing platforms (LinkedIn and YouTube).
Consistency: Ensure that all media content is consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and messaging.
Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness and drive engagement.
Content and Engagement:
Content Management: Support development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
Posting and Scheduling: Manage the scheduling and posting of content across social media platforms primarily LinkedIn and YouTube.
Engagement: Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages as appropriate.
Analytics and Reporting:
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of media content and social media campaigns using analytics tools.
Reporting: Prepare reports detailing the success of campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of media content and campaigns.
Project Management:
Teamwork: Work closely with marketing manager and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated media strategies. Be helpful as a team member, supporting other members of the design team when needed by stepping in and helping finish other projects, or executing production needs and/or deliveries.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and agencies to supplement in-house capabilities as needed.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Delivery: Deliver high-quality drafts on time and within budget by utilizing available templates as well as internal editing/proofing resources.
Communication Skills: Provide status updates. Ask your project team leaders for help prioritizing if you can't meet deadlines.
What You Will Need:
2+ years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and XD or equivalent.
2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience collaborating with key stakeholders, including program and leadership, engineers, marketing peers, and external media partners
Ability to converse with technical teams and obtain relevant information
Ability to present a digital portfolio showcasing work samples
Excellent illustration, digital effects, and photo editing skills
Understanding of target audiences and identify best ways to reach and engage
Ability to tell a great visual story
Ability to work well in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Nice If You Have:
Previous experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry or have had exposure to the A&D industry
Experience using Premiere or equivalent
Proven success in building a social media footprint through creative and effective campaigns internally and externally
