Internship Overview
Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Marketing Team! The Creative Marketing Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.
Internship Projects and Responsibilities
- Analyze dealer selling tools and develop a recommendation to be the best partner for Graber and Horizons dealers.
- Dealer selling tools are defined as displays, sampling, swatches, and print materials.
- Involves internal outreach to gather feedback and understand current state.
- Design Studios
Assist with design studio tasks: sample shade order management, Smartsheet timelines, merchandising suggestions, marketing plan, etc.
Learn how to manage merchandising timelines and effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
Gain an understanding of in-store merchandising and the various jobs that are available.
- Sampling
- Learn and assist project management of sampling, specifically reorders
- Includes writing sampling specifications, creating mock-ups in InDesign, creating reorder decision decks, routing CERs, collaborating with supply chain and channel partners, and communicating project milestone dates to the project team
- Route sampling materials including prototypes, first piece production, and construction materials
- Gain valuable experience in project management, critical thinking, communication, vendor management and providing creative direction
- Photography/Video
- Manage logistics for a photography or video project, including managing shade orders, routing scripts, setting review meetings
- Manage timelines, deliverable, and budgets associated with the shoot
- Opportunity to shadow on-set and learn about photo/video production
- Business Training
- Exposure to creative, marketing (channel and retail), product management, logistics, supply chain, and AP processes
- Learn how to successfully navigate business tools such as Workfront, SharePoint, Microsoft programs, D365, CER and PCR processes

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous internship experience in relevant function preferred
- Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level
- Marketing Major Preferred
- Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
