Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a SaaS company to identify a Controller to join their growing team. This is a remote position.

Why the Controller opportunity?

The Company: Growing SaaS company with $25M in revenue transitioning from an entrepreneurial stage environment to a sophisticated financial organization.
The Growth: Profitable company with that grew 25% last year and is forecasted to grow another 20-25% this year.
Opportunity: As the right hand to the CFO, the Controller will be charged with building out the accounting/finance administration infrastructure to scale with the company's growth.
The Exposure: The Controller will be expected to operate through all levels of the organization and align processes and systems to fully execute the company's growth strategy.
Compensation: $140-150K

The Controller's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the company including: the preparation of the monthly financial package; management of GL accounts, annual audit and submission of government and related tax returns; and financial planning.
Develop and implement business process improvement initiatives and strategies.
Further develop guidelines and processes corresponding to the rapid growth of the company.
Continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP and statutory accounting

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
C.P.A., M.B.A. or master's degree in finance is preferred, but not required.
7+ years of total experience. Must have hands-on experience working in an accounting and financial management function in a high growth company.
SaaS experience highly preferred.
Experience establishing and implementing process improvement initiatives within a high growth environment.
