About the Senior Accountant opportunity and organization
Our client is in the SaaS space seeking a Senior Accountant who will work with and report to the Controller. This is a position that allows for mentorship and impact to the organization immediately. This position will also work closely with a team of talented professionals in a collaborative and innovative culture. The Senior Accountant will be exposed to the latest technologies, tools, and strategies in a fast-paced environment. This position is remote to Orlando residents ONLY.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• The Senior Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions
• The Senior Accountant will assist with review and analyze the general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial information
• The Senior Accountant will help process payroll
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Manage payables
• Support the Controller in all month, quarterly and year-end responsibilities
• Support internal and external audits

Preferred qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• MBA, CPA preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of experience
• High proficiency in Excel
• DCAA/DCMA experience (highly preferred)
• PE industry experience (+)
