About the Role
We're seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our in-house creative team and marry innovation with heritage through compelling storytelling. The ideal candidate will drive a creative strategy that demystifies skincare while maintaining brand excellence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities and What You'll Dieux:
Creative Vision & Strategy
- Develop and execute a cohesive creative strategy that aligns with brand goals.
- Maintain and evolve brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms including Sephora (retail), DTC, packaging, social and all brand-to-consumer touchpoints.
- Lead concept development for marketing campaigns, digital and retail experiences, and product storytelling.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to keep Dieux innovative and pushing boundaries of what it means to be a clinical skincare brand with soul.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team (designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to bring ideas to life.
- Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to drive high-quality output.
Brand & Content Development
- Oversee visual and written content across digital, print, social media, and experiential activations.
- Develop compelling narratives that engage audiences that make people fall in love with the identity of Dieux as much as they love the formulas.
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand positioning and core values.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple creative projects from concept to execution within timelines and budgets.
- Work with external partners, agencies, and freelancers as needed.
- Approve final creative materials before publication or production.
Qualifications and What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in beauty/skincare
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent
- Outstanding portfolio showing cross-channel campaign work
- Expert in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and digital design tools
- Strong typography and design principles
- Excellence in team leadership and mentoring
- Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Ability to balance art with commercial needs
- Based in NYC area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule
