CRM Designer
12-months Contract | Hybrid NYC
We are seeking a hands-on digital designer to develop top-tier creative assets that will drive our consumer business forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Conceptualize, design, and develop engaging digital creative assets, such as graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia content for CRM channels (email, site, and app) throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Ensure all visuals, messaging, and interactive elements align with the creative vision and adhere to the brand standards of our diverse brand portfolio.
- Apply strategic thinking and design principles to all creative development aspects, delivering designs that effectively boost consumer business growth.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and Project Management team to leverage data and analytics, gaining insights into creative performance, and offering recommendations for asset updates to enhance performance.
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Management team and colleagues, providing updates on project timelines and progress.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape, industry best practices, and emerging design and consumer revenue generation trends.
- Manage and organize raw media and finished assets, ensuring proper storage and backup for easy accessibility and retrieval for internal and external partners.
Required Experience/Skills
- 3-4 years of proven experience as a designer, ideally in a consumer-focused or revenue-driven environment such as marketing, advertising, or e-commerce.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity, with a diverse range of projects that highlight the ability to deliver high-quality designs and generate consumer engagement.
- Comprehensive understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and user experience (UX) design, essential for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs that align with brand standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, crucial for working in cross-functional teams, communicating ideas clearly, and actively participating in discussions with colleagues and the Creative Director.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure all design elements, messaging, and interactive features align with the creative vision and brand standards, delivering high-quality and consistent designs.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and provide regular updates on project timelines and progress.
- Proactive and adaptable attitude, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, open to learning and implementing new design approaches, and consistently delivering innovative and cutting-edge creative solutions.
- Knowledge of ADA-compliant design is desired.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation, understanding of good UX/UI design, basic HTML, and social media principles.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After-effects, working knowledge of G Suite, and project management systems.
