The Crane Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations of crane and hoist equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise service technicians in the repair and maintenance of cranes and hoists.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their service needs and concerns.
- Oversee scheduling of service calls and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Conduct regular assessments of service operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and manage service budgets and reports, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Train and mentor technicians on best practices and new technologies related to crane service.
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the heavy equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of cranes, hoists, and related equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
