Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a dynamic environment that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Some areas can have air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens, and various chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
The essential duties of this classification are performed both outdoors under various climatic and
geographic conditions and in a controlled-temperature office environment requiring the ability to:
use telephone, mobile radio, and computer keyboard; use feet and hands to safely and effectively operate a vehicle; repeatedly get in and out of a vehicle or golf cart; climb, kneel, bend, crouch, and/or crawl to read meters; stand and walk for extended periods of time; clearly see to read meters, identify figures and detect different colors on meter dials and door hangers; hear and communicate verbally with co-workers and customers; maintain body equilibrium while walking standing or crouching on narrow and slippery surfaces or up and down hills; extend hands and arms in any direction; push with upper extremities to exert steady force to thrust objects forward, downward or outward; use upper extremities to exert force to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in sustained motion; use finger dexterity to record meter readings; grasp objects with fingers and palm of hand; sense attributes of objects by touching with skin and particularly fingertips; frequently lift and maneuver meter covers weighing up to 20 pounds d

Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
We are looking to hire a Facility Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper.
GPS Technician Responsibilities:
Reports directly to Water Operations Manager.
Maintains appearance of all company properties. Includes all grounds surrounding the facilities. This includes mowing, weed eating, spraying and blowing grass off concrete.
Operate tractor for mowing, tilling and spraying of grounds.
Complete preventative maintenance work orders as well as client request work orders.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks and maintains equipment ensuring it is kept in working order.
Ensures that tools and materials are available at job site.
Assists transporting and/or securing materials, completing specific tasks, etc for the purpose of completing projects in a safe efficient manner.
Attends meetings, workshops, training as needed or required.
Coordinates with supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
Maintains vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability of safe operating condition. Performs a variety of general maintenance activities for the purpose of completing projects with established time frames.
Performs or reports preventative maintenance on systems for the purpose of providing a safe and workable environment.
Repairs a variety of equipment, systems, and or structural items for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition.
Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
Coordinates with Water Operations Manager on schedule, progress and issues.
Follows all safety measures that are stressed and set by the Safety Coordinator and reports any possible safety hazards to both the Manager and Safety Coordinator.
Works towards a CDL to be able to pull company equipment around site.
All other tasks as needed.
