The Certified Parts Wholesale Zone Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Strategic and Tactical plans for Certified Wholesale Dealers and their Go to Market plans and problem solving as needed. Being able to work closely with teammates is a crucial element to this position as it will have regular interactions with everyone in the goal to grow part sales in the Wholesale Channels. Lead the development and execution of business plan strategies to improve parts sales through various channels throughout the market area.

•Parts Purchases Revenue and Profitability
•Parts Sales – Wholesale Parts and Ford Pro Parts– Ford, Motorcraft and Omnicraft Part sales
•Retail Inventory Management (RIM)
• Please note this position is in the San Francisco Region – Candidate must be willing to travel 3+ day a week on a regular basis.

The Certified Parts Wholesale Zone Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Strategic and Tactical plans for Certified Wholesale Dealers and their Go to Market plans and problem solving as needed. Being able to work closely with teammates is a crucial element to this position as it will have regular interactions with everyone in the goal to grow part sales in the Wholesale Channels. Lead the development and execution of business plan strategies to improve parts sales through various channels throughout the market area by:
•Analyze, communicate performance, and consult with Market Area/Regional personnel on meeting key objectives via Organizational Meetings, conference calls, etc.
•Participate in and support the various business growth dealer meetings: Dealer •Advertising Associations, Grass Roots, Dealer Council Meetings, etc.
•Collaborating and building relationships with key stakeholders to capitalize on parts sales growth opportunities:
-Market Area/Regional personnel and key Marketing, Sales, and Field Operations personnel in the General Office
-Consulting organizations (ADMI, MSX, etc)
-Parts Distribution Center (PDC) management
-Parts Supply and Logistic General Office Team
-Motorcraft Sales Organization Management
-Ford Pro in Market Representatives and General Office
-Communication of programs, events, and training to drive success toward objectives
-Managing the development, implementation, and education of effective Local and
National programs, events (promotions, incentives, training sessions, etc), and advertising/merchandising strategies toward meeting/exceeding Wholesale Parts and Ford Pro Parts objectives:
-Ford Fleet Network & Professional Sellers Network
-Fleet and Government Bids application and award process
-Parts Rewards and Business Growth Funds
-Wholesale Allowance and Powertrain Players
-Variable Marketing programs
-Best Practices and sales tools
-Monitoring of efforts to improve parts inventory management (RIM)
-Engaging with Dealers to support their Go To Market Strategy to grow Wholesale Business
Dealer Consultation regarding effective implementation of programs and advertising/merchandising (POS) strategies
Travel and coordinate sales calls with channel partners and Dealer personnel -i.e. Outside Sales Reps
Assist in preparing Business Development presentations for account meetings conducted by the General and Regional Manager (Grass Roots meetings, Fixed Operations Improvement meetings, etc).
You'll have...
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field of study
•3+ years of professional field sales experience, must have experience traveling in a sales role
•Ability to Travel in market that may require overnight travel (i.e. Hotel Stays Tuesdays to Fridays)
Minimum Travel Required: 3 or more days per week to local sites in market – up to a four-hour drive time in market
