Court Day Treatment Experiential Specialist - Eagle Village

About the Job
The Day Treatment Experiential Specialist is responsible for the therapeutic and vocational activities of participants in the Day Treatment program at Eagle Village. Will utilize specialized activities and daily recreational events to influence youth to develop social, emotional, self-regulation skills, and to maximize personal and community wellness. The Experiential Specialist will collaborate with the Case Work Specialist and Family Therapist to develop and implement individual and group experiential interventions to learn and practice necessary skills to support community reintegration. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred.

Brief Description of Any Preferences
Bachelor's Degree in the human service field and/or Outdoor Education or Recreation (or related field) from an accredited college or university with one year of experience in experiential work and/or leading outdoor adventure education activities, i.e., ropes/towers/challenge courses, and teambuilding activities. Good moral character. Prefer a NCTRC Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or be able to obtain certification.
