ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position will provide support to prosecutors in preparation for criminal trials including providing interpreter services for meetings, court proceedings, transcription of audio files/electronic files, and will perform other administrative duties as needed. Offering sworn testimony in court may be required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of related experience.
PREFERENCES:
Prefers a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Fluency in English and Spanish. Performance reflects the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics. Preference given to Court Certified Spanish Interpreters. If not currently certified the candidate will go through the certification process through the Supreme Court of Virginia, Office of the Executive Secretary with the goal of certification within 24 months. This position must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in an office that values civility, initiative, sound judgment and skilled advocacy.

Starting Salary Range: $64,500 to $69,000.00 Annual
