The Counting Cell Maintenance Technician (Technical Support Associate Analyst) will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the automated drug dispensing system (ADDS). The Technicians will intervene and apply the appropriate corrective measures to ensure machine stability and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on cell canisters.
- Execute cell testing and troubleshoot cells.
- Investigate the causes of failures and provide solutions.
- Understand and perform drug quarantine procedures.
- Participate in Six Sigma projects and process improvement efforts.
- Create and complete work orders as assigned.
- Needs the ability to be able to mesh together various infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, networks, and virtualization.
- Other duties may be assigned by the manager/supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Must be able to work independently with little support.
- Experience solving problems using analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in a machine operation capacity in a production environment.
- Excellent quality and efficiency in the current position.
- Must possess sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must have demonstrated attention to detail.
- Must possess outstanding organizational skills.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Before this posting, the employee must meet or exceed current department performance standards and have no verbal or written disciplinary actions.
- Previous electrical/electronic maintenance-related experience preferred.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
